This article (http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com/security/features/article.php/3737036) brings an important question to mind. Does your business have a Smartphones policy in place that is geared towards protecting your network? I know mine doesn't.... yet. :D
I'd like to see what you all have in place today.

Currently my company allows users to purchase something like a blackberry and pay an access fee to get your corporate e-mail through our BES. but it's still all internally through RIM. We don't allow network shares or Or direct access.

Because of the nature of our company (and a true guru in every sense of the word running the intranet) we have to and are very successful in locking down ingress points on all sides; but i think it can be a risk to all companies.

Because we don't allow access to the BES MDS the likelyhood of an ingress point is small.
