It's official. Windows 7 public beta starts Friday, January 9th (http://www.enterpriseitplanet.com/networking/news/article.php/3794926), which means you no longer have to be tempted by the leaked (potentially dodgy) builds available via torrents.
Will you be taking Microsoft's Vista successor for a spin, officially?
Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic about what awaits. You?

not me. I get off the Windows bandwagon with XP, that's my stop. After that is no longer supported at all,I move to some alternative OS. Windows has just become ridiculously bloated, troublesome, and just a plain nuisance to use. I don't wish to have to buy a mainframe just to get decent speed because of a bloated OS.

I'm with JP on this one. The fact that they're actually charging Vista owners for what is basically a service release just adds insult to injury.
