I have W2K pro version installed on the laptop as well as the desktop.
Both machines show that the network card is installed and working porperly without conflict. I can ping 127.0.0.1, however when I tried to use auto IP assignment (W2K feature) or assigned statiuc IP myself (169..254.0.1), I can't ping and ipconfig /all does not show any IP address. What am I missing?
