Hi,
My work has a W2k VPN server which I connect to successfully from WinME and WinXP over my DSL line where I am behind a NAT router. IE and other network applications work fine but Outlook (running against Exchange server) works a treat from WinXP (or Win2k) but just hangs while attempting to connect from WinME. If I don't do the VPN bit but just connect direct then Outlook starts successfully (from all OS) and works fine, except that you lose immediate newmail connections because RPC can't see me. I'll have to use VPN shortly (installing a new firewall) - has anyone got any suggestions. I have read a single other mention of this problem in the Internet and a hotfix (for what I know not) was mentioned but I can't locate it.
