Hi,
I have configured a dhcp server on my router, but some times the clients
get a completely different IP's which are not for our subnet.
We have multiple routers , I guess there are multiple DHCP servers on our network...
Is there any simple way to know, who all are running DHCP in our network ?
other that using hit & trail method of eliminiting the the supecious machines/devices one at a time & testing the ip on a client.
Thanks in advance

Hi Sharan,
Try this simple command to view all known DHCP servers on the network.
Log into your router and issue the EN command to log into secure mode.
Issue this command: Sh DHCP servers
This will show all DHCP servers your router knows about.
Hope this helps,
Donna

Sharan - Check out this link. It's a long read, however, may be useful.
