I have a user addicte to downloading MP3's from ftp sites. How can I restrict his access and not allow any downloads from ftp sites?

Do you have a firewall setup? If so, block his IP from using FTP. If not, remove FTP from his machine.

Hello

Brian
Another simple way is create global user in the domain and add it webproxy with ftp permission

i am giving you step by step procedure

Open IIS management console

then right click
webproxy
then click
properties
then click
permissions
then click
ftp
then click
edit
add the user you want give the access

thats all in few easy steps you can block

thanks

Hi.
Most company has a firewall. Block this mp3 site out form your firewall. If this is for work, users should not need to download mp3 files.
