I have been trying to set up a RAS server running Windows NT Server 4.0 However whenever I dial into the remote computer I get the following error message "Error 650: The computer you're dialing in to does not respond to a network request. Check your server type settings in the properties of the connection……" I have checked my configuration a million times. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong?

Katyan,

Are you checking your configuration on the RAS Server, or are you checking the settings on the client? I believe what it's telling you, is to go to the Properties | Server Types tab of your RAS connection on the client and make sure you have the correct boxes checked or unchecked. For us, we remove the the options for Netbeui and IPX/SPX.
