Class (c) and class (a) ip address

Iam trying to use 2 ip addresses a (Class c) and a (Class a) on 2 diffrent network cards. on the same server.
The class a address works fine when the class c is not invoked.
But when i use both class c and class a none of the ip address work.
What am i doing WRONG???????????????
