It's a maximum of 16 per network card.

Hi Marcel
how will you define that?

I assume you mean how to do it...
go to network properties.
go to the protocols tab.
under the ip address tab click advanced.
now you're in advanced ip properties.
there you can add all the ip's and subnets. (up to 16)

What happens if you assign more then 16 ip addresses?

The reason I ask is I currently have over 16 on a single network card
and I don't notice any problems. However, that does not mean that there is not any.

Yes I agree with you Zaid,

it depends on subnet mask and class of IP setting that you use.
