56K Connection between Win95 and NT4

Please Help!

I used the same 56K modem in NT4 and 95. Win95 user connect to my NT4 with
the speed only 33600. I install NT4 & SP4, the speed of COM1 in NT4 and 95 is set to highest.

Could anyone tell me how can I increase the connection speed for more
than 40K bps
