Need Help Planning a VPN

OK I have to build a VPN, I can handle the tech stuff I think but I need help in the actually planning and implemtation. Anyone out there that is either working on a plan or has completed a VPN project, please send me some advice about the pit falls, software you recoment (sorry I only know NT/2000), or a time line, check list, project plan you felt was useful. Hi both,

I'm having the same problem. We have at this moment a VPN connection network (you can only connect throught an analogue or ISDN line), but we want a good, stabile network with more possibilities.

My tasks are to explore the present way of working and to plan, suggest, ... a better way of doing things. When you have something interesting (links, books you recommend, ...), you can reply to my personal e-mailaddress.
