Cannot see Server after RAS connection made

I am connecting to an NT4.0 server using RAS my client is Windows 98. The connection is established sucessfully as the client gets a connection screen and the server shows my user connected in RAS Admin. However when I try to access any resources on the server I cannot see anything. What am I doing wrong?
